Where Philosophy Becomes Practice

DaoSense brings the foundations of Chinese medicine into daily life through clear structure, thoughtful teaching, and practical application.

It was created to deepen understanding — of patterns, of physiology, and of the principles that shape health over time. Here, knowledge is not abstract. It becomes usable.

The work is calm, structured, and grounded. It supports steady learning, deeper clarity, and meaningful integration into everyday life.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Meet Eva

Founder of DaoSense

My path into Chinese medicine did not begin as a career choice — it began as a deep fascination.

What drew me in was not only the clinical effectiveness of acupuncture or herbal medicine, but the worldview behind them: an ancient system that understands the human being as part of nature, shaped by rhythm, cycles, and relationship rather than isolated symptoms.

I am a trained acupuncturist and herbalist with more than ten years of hands-on clinical practice. Over time, my work has grown beyond treatment rooms and protocols. What continues to inspire me most is how Chinese medicine speaks to every layer of life — the body, the emotions, the mind, and the way we move through the world.

Chinese medicine, as I understand and practice it, does not end when a treatment session is over. It is something to be lived.

This understanding became the foundation of DaoSense.

DaoSense was created to carry Chinese medicine beyond the clinic — into daily life, self-care, and long-term cultivation. A space where ancient wisdom is not simplified, but translated into practical, embodied understanding.

Your questions, answered

Chinese Medicine – isn’t it just herbs and acupuncture?

Yes, those are part of it — but Chinese medicine is much more than that.

Well-known therapies such as acupuncture and herbal medicine are important components, but the real depth lies in its holistic way of understanding life.

Chinese medicine means that:

  • everything in life — our emotions, symptoms, illnesses, and even different treatment approaches — can be understood and interpreted through its perspective.
  • whenever something affects the body, it can be understood in Chinese medical terms.
  • whenever the body “speaks,” Chinese medicine helps us learn its language.

In short: Chinese medicine is a living wisdom that helps you recognize patterns and connections in everyday life — far beyond individual therapies.

Are protected or endangered animal species used in Chinese medicine?

No. This is no longer common practice and is strictly rejected by responsible practitioners and providers.

The protection of endangered species is very important to us.

Modern Chinese medicine works with plant-based, mineral, and everyday-accessible substances. The use of products derived from protected animal species is ethically and legally unacceptable and plays no role in our work or offerings.

Is it true that Chinese medicine is against raw food, dairy, and bread?

No — not in such a general way.

Chinese medicine always focuses on the individual. Nutrition depends on constitution, lifestyle, and current condition — what is supportive for one person may not be for another.

For some people, for example those with Yin deficiency, internal heat, or a strong digestive center, raw foods or yogurt can be very suitable and supportive. For others, they may be less appropriate.

There are no rigid rules or bans — instead, there is an invitation to listen closely to what truly nourishes you.

Tip: In the membership, you learn how to understand your body better and interpret its signals — helping you discover what genuinely supports and nourishes you.
